What age did you start shaving your legs?

Author: I am 11 and my mom said I should start shaving my legs this year. Is this to early, and what age did you start shaving yours?

I think I was like 11 when I started shaving. I didn't do it that often on my legs since I wore jeans pretty much every day, but when I started wearing shorts then I shaved regularly.
I think that whenever you start to grow underarm hair then you should start shaving your legs (and armpits obviously). If you don't have a lot of leg hair or have a very light or unnoticeable colour, then you can wait.
But if your mom says you should start shaving, see if your friends in your class shave their legs and if the majority of them do, then I you should start shaving them. But it's your choice.

I think it's early but that is only because I started at age 16 but then again I started that late because I hardly had any leg hair until that age. I think most of my body hair just grew out on my arms =|
So it depends, if you have a lot of hair and will be showing your legs off a lot then shave.

no its not early i started shaving my legs when i was like 9
It depends what colour your leg hair is, i'm blonde so mine is barely noticeable, so i didn't start until i was 13ish, but once you start your leg hair will get tougher maybe you should wax instead, stays hair free longer and eventually it makes the hair grow back finer. Good luck though

11 is honestly the perfect age because it's the time when you're kind of starting to like boys (unless you liked them before!). I started shaving mine at age 9. Thinking of it now, I think it's kind of early to start. (I'm almost 16 now.) But 11 is a perfect age to start. :}

my cousin started in fourth grade
in the 5th grade, so i was about 10

(; i started it when i was 8, now im 14. but i had to deal with my mom for like O.O weeeeeks she kept telling me that i would get hurt which was a bit gay ._. at first she made me use the hair cream removal. but yeah(; that age is fine to start, especally this time of season, (hot) so u would have to show to much skin

Extreme hairiness for girls are really common for Indians so my mom let me WAX AND USE HAIR REMOVAL CREAM, not shaving whenever I wanted but I was concerned until 4th grade.
Do not shave. You'll have more hair grow back and and it will be more noticeable. You don't have to wax and use hair removal cream every day so its much easier than shaving. Shaving also just cuts the hair. Waxing pulls it out from the roots. Not sure about hair removal creams.
If you still want to shave and later regret it, then another good thing is to epilate. It pulls your hair out from the roots and you're hair grows back thinner.
