First, I don't shave or want a mustache either lol, it's for a friend.
How do you grow a mustache without shaving? He says he's not the kind that enjoys shaving, so he won't have to lose his mustache. Other than that, he wants a new way to grow a mustache.

at what point does shaving make a mustache grow? it’s gonna grow whether shaved or not. if he has no control over the hairs of the mustache it will grow wildly, he would still need to trim it. he can control the hairs by using a mustache wax which is really parafin wax similar to women’s eye lash mascaraca.
There is no special way to grow a tach, obviously one does not shave but it has to be trimmed to get shape.
Time. No matter whether he shaves or not, or uses products such as Rogain it’s just going to take time. That’s all there is to it. Sorry.
