Am a black dude, and I have had a beard for a long time and just shaved it. But am having problems with bumps on my face. I have tried changing shaving creams, shavers but with no success.
Any ideas?

Go to any pharmacy an dget a razor bump remover cream, they work pretty good…

Have you tried aftershave?
my bf has the same problem, everytime after he shaves little bumps appear on his chin, under and the side of his face.
I suggest investing in an electric razor.. Try a moisterizing cream afterwords, and never ever shave dry or fast. In the mean time, try a sensitive skin shaving cream, and get a 3 blade razor.. Use a new razor everytime too (if ur using disposible).

I sometimes have the same problem. I try to use as much protection as possible before shaving.
1) exfoliate your beard with a face wash
2) apply hot water to your face to open up pores
3) apply a pre-shave oil
4) apply shaving cream
5) shave with the grain
6) rinse your face with cold water to close your pores
7) apply an after-shave that contains NO ALCOHOL
try to shave with hair conditioner instead of shaving cream. it conditions the skin.
Exfoliate first, use a really emollient shaving cream, rinse thoroughly, and then use a light, oil and alcohol free moisturizer when you’re finished.
