Men's shaving cream reviews - Is
Gillette the ONLY option?

Ah, Gillette. Their shaving cream
conjures up a lot of memories. Primarily
all of the mistakes I made when I first
started shaving as a teen ? when I
barely had any facial hair to begin
with. Gillette shaving cream in a can
was the first I ever tried, and I still
remember using handfuls of it, turning
me into some Santa Claus wannabe instead
of the mature young adult I was aspiring
to become.

To this day, I throw a can of Gillette
into my basket of toiletries I get from
the drugstore, out of habit. It?s
available everywhere, in massive
quantities that you can?t ignore as you
walk through the aisles. But recently, a
friend turned me onto some specialty
brands that offer incredible men?s
shaving cream options. Now it?s becoming
increasingly apparent that it wasn?t
just that I was making mistakes in how I
was using my shaving cream, but that I
was using Gillette at all.

The biggest problem with Gillette is
that, despite all of its formulations,
it wants to reach a broad base of
shavers ? in slightly harsher terms,
it?s borderline generic. Ingredients are
synthetic, ?moisturizers? leave a
strange film on your face, and as the
results are always the same, there?s an
odd fast food quality about it that
makes me wonder why I ever thought this
was the best shaving cream out there.
Sure, there?s that sentimental value
that ?Gillette smell? conjures, but is
it really worth it to harm your face?

A Men's shaving cream?

We?ve come too long of a way to continue
passively supporting this atrocity that
has affected generations of shavers.
There are much better options out there
that offer a closer shave, smoother
skin, better protection, and are made of
ingredients that you can actually
pronounce. As long as you are okay with
abandoning the pressurized can,
everything from shave soap to shaving
oil becomes a possibility for your
shave.

My friend, for example, gave me a men?s
grooming kit as a gift ? or hint,
perhaps ? which included the Shave Cream
from Anthony Logistics for Men. I had
heard of Anthony before, even saw it,
but had never ventured to try it myself.
I was still brainwashed at the time, so
the bottle didn?t look like shaving
cream to me. When I put it in my
medicine cabinet, I could almost mistake
it for my hair gel. I didn?t believe
that what was in there could improve my
shave.

Boy was I wrong. From the first moment,
I could feel how differently my skin was
reacting to this shave cream. The razor
glided across my face in a way that it
felt like I was, for the first time,
shaving correctly. And in a way, since
the Santa Claus days, perhaps I had. For
the rest of the day, my skin didn?t dry
out, felt naturally soft, and I could
definitely see the difference in my
reflection.

I would suggest trying several different
brands in order to, over time, find out
what works best for you. There are
several excellent specialty brands like
Anthony that are out there ? some
companies even offer starter sets that
allow you to try a range of products at
once. There?s nothing frivolous about
experimenting with the art of shaving.
Improving your shave and taking care of
your skin will make a real difference to
how you look and feel for years to come.
You can even go back to Gillette, if
that?s what works for you ? but I?m
pretty sure you?ll be throwing out that
old can of shaving gel pretty soon.

A Man's Guide to Buying Skincare (or How
to Stay Looking Younger For Longer!)

Long gone are the days when a quick
shave with soap and a splash of cheap
aftershave was the mark of a man, those
1970's aftershave commercials which
inspired that look have been consigned
to the history books. The modern man has
a mass of shaving foams, after shave
balms and moisturisers, eye creams and
anti-aging products to choose from.

What to buy?

With this choice, it can be bewildering
to navigate through all the products
available. The man's shopping process
needs to be quick and easy. With
skincare, it is probably best to keep
everything as simple as possible. All
you need is three or four products as
follows:

1. a wash off cleanser - better than
soap as it does not dry out your skin

2. a light moisturiser (preferably with
an sun protection factor)

3. cooling eye gel if you are feeling a
bit worse for wear.

4. An exfoliating cream used once or
twice a week is a good addition and
takes very little time. Exfoliating the
skin helps remove dead skin cells to
leave the skin glowing.

Buy an eau de toilette spray which all
ranges from Calvin Klein to Hugo Boss
manufacture and use it on your body as
the alcohol in a traditional bottle
aftershave can dry out your skin if
applied to your face. When it comes to
shaving, a weighted razor and badger
hair shaving brush combined with a rich
shaving cream provide the closest finish
and will moisturise your skin as you
shave. Always shave in a downward
direction, not against your skin as this
will cause soreness.

Where to shop

Men's skincare from Clinique and Lancome
offer the same technology and packaging
with their products as women's skincare.
Although the perfumery/makeup department
is usually the domain of women, these
companies have invested lots of money in
to creating and marketing these ranges
for men, so the assistants are trained
to be helpful and not condescending.
Just be certain to only buy what you
intended and better still ask for
samples before buying.

Off the high street, the internet
provides an excellent way of avoiding
those Saturday crowds. Not only that but
on-line retailers are extremely
competitive on price and service. You
can also pickup salon only brands such
as

With regard to shaving, Edwin Jagger
offers a contemporary range of Gillette
Mach 3 compatible razors and badger
shaving brushes. Even though the Edwin
Jagger contemporary range can be more
expensive than your average department
store shaving kit, you can be assured of
excellent design and craftsmanship which
can be felt in the quality and feel of
their products turning shaving from a
chore into a pleasure.

Isn't it time you started looking after
yourself by investing in a good
cleanser, moisturiser and eye gel, not
forgetting a once a week exfoliating
cream, you will look all the better for
it!

Looking for a First Class Wet Shave?

It?s not always easy to get that smooth
shave but follow the following very
simple tips and get that perfect shave.

Having the Right Tools:

1 Choosing a Shaving Product

There are many shaving products on the
market and you will need to find the one
that suits your skin best. Natural
shaving products, which are alcohol
free, are always recommended. You need
to choose a product that will give that
essential lather needed for an effective
wet shave.

? Shaving creams are usually preferable
for those who have normal to dry and
sensitive skin as they help moisturize
your skin. Crabtree & Evelyn have 3
perfumed shaving creams available:

- Sandalwood

- Nomad

- Sienna

? Shaving soaps are better for oily skin
types as they can help remove excess
oil. Again try the popular Crabtree &
Evelyn selection available:

- Sandalwood

- Nomad

- Sienna

2 Choosing a Shaving Brush & Shaving
Bowl

. Edwin Jagger manufacturers the most
exquisite and enormous range of
excellent quality shaving brushes to
choose from. The movements of the brush
on your face helps lift your facial
hairs, ensures complete coverage with
the cream or soap and will give you a
smoother shave. A good starting brush is
the Best Badger Shaving Brush. The
complementary shaving porcelain bowls
are great to help with that all
important lather process.

3 Choosing a Razor

The right razor will make the difference
between and good and enjoyable shaving
experience and a bad one. Using
disposable razors may appear easy but
the best shave comes only from using the
best equipment. So just like the advice
with your choice of Shaving Brush it is
just as important to use the best
quality Razor and blades available.
Edwin Jagger has a great selection to
suit all tastes from cut-throat razors
for the experienced shaver to razors and
blades suitable for those who regularly
use the wet shave method.

Preparing Your Face

4 Always shave after a warm shower or
bath. If not you can place a small warm
towel on your face for about 30 seconds.
With either method the warm water allows
your facial hairs to expand, become
softer and therefore easier to cut. It
also allows your pores to open and gets
rid of any impurities. A facial cleanser
is also advisable to completely clean
your face before shaving.

The Shave

5 You can apply a shaving cream with
your fingers but a very effective way to
lather up is to use a good quality
shaving brush and shaving bowl.

- Always warm your sharp blade with hot
water.

- Shave in the same direction as your
beard to avoid cuts and possible razor
burn or ?redneck?. This is particularly
important around the neck area where it
is difficult to shave and going against
the grain can cause the problem of
in-growing hairs. Do rinse your razor as
you shave to clean it of any hairs and
lather.

- Once finished rinse your face
thoroughly with cool water and pat dry.
This will help close your pores.

- If you have made small cuts or nicks
apply L?Occitane?s anti-septic stick or
an Aluminum block.

After-care

6 To protect your shaven skin you should
apply alcohol free after-shaving balm,
lotion or moisturizer.

To protect your razor and ensure an
effective shave every time make sure
that after every shave you rinse it
thoroughly with hot water, shake it dry
and then carefully dry the razor blades
with a clean towel.

If you follow these few very simple tips
you will always enjoy shaving your beard
and your face will be clean, refreshed
and glow with a healthy complexion.

Female Pubic Hair Removal Tips

Female pubic hair removal has been a
mainstream practise since the 1980s.
Formerly the domain of prostitutes, porn
actresses, exotic and pole dancers,
people from all walks of life now shave
their private parts for a myriad of
reasons. Few do it for their sexual
partners, some viewed it from health
angles, while others simply want to feel
"clean and sexy."

The three most common ways of female
pubic hair removal are:

(a) Shaving - Before starting, that note
that it is advisable to always use a
fresh razor for each and every session.
Using a blunt razor may cause injury.
Thus, disposable razors, especially
gender specific ones, are a good choice.
Before shaving the genital area, use
either scissors, electric razors or
whatever is convenient, to shorten the
long pubic hair. Once the "bushes" has
been cleared, soak the cleared areas for
about 15 minutes in warm water, such as
by sitting on a bath tub. An alternative
is to use a warm damp cloth, to soften
the remaining pubic hairs. Once the 15
minutes is over, apply gel or shaving
foam on the genital area. Don't put so
much of it to the extent that you cannot
see what you are doing. Now, you are
ready to shave your pubic hair. Remember
to shave in the direction to which the
hair grows. If you shave it in the
opposite direction, you are likely to
suffer from ingrown hairs. Try not to
shave the same area repeatedly as you
risk scalping the skin or get razor
burns. When shaving, do it slowly and
gently, and never rush. Put just enough
pressure on the razor blades so that you
can attain a clean shave with every
stroke you make. A good practise is to
keep the skin taut. After shaving, rinse
the genital area first and then use a
mild gentle soap to clean the whole
area. Be cautioned that some soaps,
because of the ingredients it contained,
can cause irritation. Hence, use those
which works for you. Pat dry the shaved
area, and apply moisturizer.

(b) Waxing - Two main reasons why some
individuals prefer waxing to shaving are
that waxed hair takes longer to grow
back, and it's texture is also finer.
Arguably the best known method of female
pubic hair removal via waxing is
Brazilian wax. It was introduced in New
York in 1987 by several Brazil-born
sisters. A word of caution about waxing:
For novice, it is best to get it done by
a professional for at least several
sessions before attempting it at home.
Only when one is sure how it is done can
one attempt to do it at home by
purchasing the appropriate waxing kits
from supermarkets, chemist shops etc.
Waxing basically involves applying hot
wax on strips of cotton cloth, then
putting the cloth on the area to be
waxed. When it is sufficiently dry, the
cloth is pulled off quickly - which
literally plucks the pubic hairs from
its roots. Moisturize the waxed area to
prevent irritation. An important thing
to remember is that instructions which
come with the product should be followed
properly. Also note that individuals
with sensitive skin and low pain
tolerance may have problems with waxing.

(c) Laser - Female pubic hair removal
using lasers is fast growing in
acceptance because the result is more or
less permanent. This modern technology
makes use of light beams to hit the
pigment located in hair follicles. The
laser pulses for only a fraction of a
second, just long enough to vaporise the
pigment, thus destroying or
significantly impairing the hair's
ability to regrow. Some people squirmmed
when laser hair removal is mentioned
simply because of the cost involved.
Each session may cost up to several
hundred bucks, and several sessions are
required to achieve the desired results
because of the way which hair grows.

Aftershave Speaks Volumes About Today's
Modern Man

Men today are very masculine and
stylish. Using a quality product after
shaving is important to the grooming
regiment and leaves men feeling
refreshed and invigorated. This is a
real confidence builder for today's man.

When a man uses aftershave instead of a
heavy cologne, he is assured his
entrance into any room will not cause a
chain reaction of raised eyebrows but
instead lots of involuntary smiles.

So, what is the basic difference between
cologne and aftershave? Cologne is a
much more concentrated fragrance. When
a man applies his signature scent after
shaving, he splashes some on his face
and feels instantly invigorated and
refreshed. This is an excellent way to
head out he door for the day.

Because this is a preparation that
today's man will be splashing on his
face, it really needs to be a gentle,
yet masculine fragrance. This needs to
be a classic and refreshing scent that
feels exhilarating once applied and
still screams masculinity. The best
choice might be a crisp, spicy botanical
blend that supports a deep woodsy
essence of cedar.

When a man chooses to use product after
shaving, he may or may not want to add a
cologne. The problem of choosing a
cologne that will be cohesive with the
product he is using after shaving
becomes a little daunting. It probably
took some time and experimentation to
choose the perfect product and scent and
now he needs to do even more searching
to find the perfect cologne to
compliment his chosen product.

Most men do not have the time for all
this, nor the patience. Here is a
possible solution that will take the
'guesswork' out of this situation. Find
a quality multipurpose cologne,
aftershave, and body rub. Now men will
have the simplest approach they want and
still have the crisp, woodsy masculine
scent that everyone will love as he
passes by.

Even if today's man absolutely must
apply cologne after splashing product
on his face when finished shaving, using
a combination product solves all his
problems.

Probably one of the last things you do before you leave the
house, is to slap on your favorite aftershave. This is an
important part of your grooming and will give you a
refreshed and confident feeling as you head out the door.
Wearing the manly scent of a quality woodsy cedar essence

Why You Should Always go to A
Professional For Your Hair Cut

Getting your hair done by a professional
does not only boost your looks, but
also, you will avoid any infections
related to badly made hair.

It is advisable to go to professional
hair doers because not only will they
advise you on what is the best hair
style for you, but also that they have
quality tools that they use for the hair
do. It is usually advisable that you do
not do your own hair because you will
definitely mess up your hair,
additionally you must know what hair
look you are going for. Professional
hair stylist are known for having a
better idea of what their client might
need , they have steady hands and keen
eyes that will definitely give you your
desired looks.

For men, shaving is the most common form
of grooming. Shaving has some related
infections if not done by a professional
or rather if not done in the desired and
advisable manner, for instance; razor
rash or razor bumps. A professional will
also tell the client of what stroke to
use so as not to clip themselves if they
shave at home.

To avoid infections of the skin whilst
shaving, it is advised that men use the
best hair products, do not use soap when
you can use shaving cream. Also to get
rid of razor bumps and rash, it is best
to know from a professional the best
razor to use when shaving. Do shave with
hot water as this will prevent the risk
of having to contract razor bumps. Wash
the skin beforehand and also use a
multiple blade razor so that you avert
the risk of getting razor rash. A clean
and classic hair cut should be
conservative and easy to maintain, this
is because you have the best looking
after your hair for you.

For women it is advisable that you
shampoo your hair the right way that is;
apply well enough shampoo into your
hair, that is after you have saturated
your scalp and hair using cool or warm
water, then using your finger tips,
evenly spread the shampoo into your
scalp. Basically the objective of
shampooing is to clean your scalp, but
make sure you rinse your hair well. If
you have an oily scalp, you can rinse
and repeat the process.

After shampooing, the best way to
condition is to apply the conditioner
and comb hair to distribute evenly, do
not massage conditioner unless you have
dry scalp. Leave conditioner in the hair
long enough, this helps to smoothen
cuticles. Rinse thoroughly and allow the
water to reach the scalp.

Carefully choose the best recommended
shampoo and conditioner. The type of
shampoo that you use has surfactants,
these ingredients determine the outcome
after you shampoo, the best shampoo is
one that has on its label; TEA lauryl
sulfate, TEA laureth sulfate and the
best is sodium laureth sulfate. There
are surfactants that are too harsh and
can damage your hair.

Hair damage is usually caused by ultra
violet rays, heat, and mechanical
devices for example combs, brushes or
curling iron, also chemicals and poor
diet.

Hair Styling Procducts.co.uk offers a
wide range of hair products available to
buy online. This include brand such a
TIGI and GHD. Some of the cheapest GHDs
are available online at H&L Hair.

100%PRCTG% All Natural Cream for the Treatment
of Chronic Folliculitis

Hair removal is never fun. What is it
about hair removal that makes it such a
terrible necessity? Maybe it is the
severe razor burn you experience for
hours after shaving. Maybe it is the
reddish bumps on your bikini line that
makes it such a pain. No matter what it
is exactly that you dread about shaving,
there is a new biological razor bump
treatment product that will ease your
infected hair follicles and make shaving
a little more relaxing.

Releiving razor burn should be a top
priority for all individuals who are
afflicted by shaving related problems.
Every person on the planet shaves and
then their innate response is to soak
the area with water. Are you familiar
with that sting? Everyone is. If people
are not careful with their daily shaving
habits, chronic folliculitis can become
a painful side effect. Folliculitis is a
hair follicle inflammation that can
sometimes look like acne cysts and if
not treated correctly, it can turn into
a severe skin condition.

A treatment for razor burn and the
different types of folliculitis should
focus on lessening the tingle associated
with shaving and making it a more
agreeable method of hair removal. It
should work the same for healing bikini
bumps as it does for helping ingrown
hair and razor burn from shaving. Thanks
to a biological discovery, shaving just
got a bit more comfortable.

How to Cure Razor Bumps

If you are looking for a method that
prevents razor burn, you can start with
your shaving techniques and razors. When
you shave 'against the grain', you run a
high risk of cutting off a hair below
the actual skin level, provoking an
ingrown hair. This can result in
inflammation and possible infection. If
you shave too many times with one blade,
you run the risk of more severe razor
burn after shaving because you need to
go over specific areas more than once.

This being said, a razor bump solution
would be figuring out the way your beard
grows and changing your blade regularly.
This would be a way to eliminate razor
bumps before they evolve. Even after you
shave in a specific manner, your
complexion is still vulnerable to razor
bumps, ingrown hair, and infected hair
so this is not always a perfect way to
cure razor bumps.

Many times women, and some males, prefer
to remove hair by applying wax and
ripping the hair out from the root. This
hair removal method is preferred by
women because it helps women avoid
bikini area razor bumps but it does not
prevent ingrown hairs. Since the hair is
torn out from the root, there is a
tendency for the hair to return at an
angle and drill under the skin,
stimulating a red bump. Any apparent
ingrown hair near a bikini line is awful
for a woman. Sooner rather than later,
waxing fanatics will look for an ingrown
hair remedy.

How to Treat Ingrown Hair

All is not bad in the world of razor
burn and ingrown hairs. There is a new
treatment on the market that can help
soothe razor bumps and help alleviate
ingrown hairs when used topically. It
functions biologically with your own
skin cells to naturally clean out
follicles and desroy bacteria that could
stimulate shaving related problems.

Do you want to know how to eliminate
razor bumps? When used consistently as
part of a post-shaving routine, the skin
cream will:

* Fight bacterial growth on the skin
using natural antimicrobial peptides
that fight inflammations inside the
skin. When you neutralize bacteria and
microbes, you reduce the chances of
redness and folliculitis.

* Open clogged pores and stimulate the
removal of dead or damaged cells found
inside. Once the follicle is open and
functioning as it normally should, it
lessens the odds of the hair growing in
sideways.

* Natural copper peptides and
glycomolecules dispatch messages to the
body in order to remodel the stability
of tissues hurt by razor bumps or razor
burns.

Razor bumps and infected hairs can
bother every single human being on the
planet. Anyone who removes hair from
their body is susceptible to infection
and redness. We would love to have you
go to our highly informative webpage and
learn more about how our special
biological ingredient can help you get
rid of razor burn.

What Is A Good Shaving Hair Removal
Technique?

If you are like most people in the
Western culture, then you are probably
pretty familiar with the shaving hair
removal technique. Many people turn to
this method because it is inexpensive.
The problems that can arise with cream
hair remover or depilatories can be
vast.

You hate the smell of the chemicals or
the lotions irritate your skin, and
permanent hair removal systems may not
work any better depending on your
particular hair type. So that leaves
either waxing or shaving. Waxing hair
can be painful so that is out the door.
So shaving is left as a viable option.
But do you know the proper way to shave?

Do you want to know the hidden secret to
shaving hair removal? There is no
secret. Anyone can use a razor on any
part of their body provided that they
have the ability to move their hands.
Okay, maybe there is a tiny secret.

The secret is the first step: you have
to soften the hair shaft. You do this by
soaking the area with hot or warm water
for at least a few minutes. A soft hair
shaft is far easier to cut and will
leave smoother skin.

The second stage is where many people go
wrong. They try to shave in a hurry.
Apply the shaving lotion to the area
that you want to shave. Let the lotion
sit for a few minutes. The lanolin and
the skin conditioner in the shaving
lotion will further relax the hair
shaft. Step three is taking the sharp
razor and shaving.

You should make slow, firm strokes. It
is important to not drag the razor
repeatedly over an area. If you miss a
spot or two of it, you can always go
back at the end. By using long strokes,
slowly, you will pick up quite a bit of
it. After you make a swipe, rinse the
blade well and return to your work.
Before long the entire area will be
smooth and hair free.

After you have gotten rid of all the
hair that you wish to part with, just
rinse the area with warm water. But
before you are completely done you need
to splash the shaved areas with cool
water. This will cause the pores to
tighten and will help soothe any
irritated areas.

After that it is a matter of toweling
off and applying some lotion to give you
smooth, soft, supple skin. As you can
see, the shaving hair removal technique
does produce results to be proud of.

Does Shaving Make You Itch Down There?

Have you ever had this happen - You
decide to do something different and
exciting for your lover, like completely
shaving your pubic area, but end up with
red blotches and so sore you don't even
want your lover to see or touch you?
What a drag.

The thought was a good one - really -
You just made the same mistake most
people make, thinking you could use just
anything for shaving the pubic area.

The pubic area is quite different and
certainly more sensitive than other
parts of the body you might already be
shaving. For those of you who know, the
closest comparison would be with shaving
under your arms.

Whether you're a male or female, if you
try shaving your pubic area with the
same device you use for shaving your
face, under arms or legs, it's most
likely that you're going to irritate the
pubic area skin.

Tell the truth - You were shaving with a
wet razor weren't you? Or was it your
favorite triple-headed shaver you
usually use for shaving your face?

Whichever it was, it didn't give you the
results you had been hoping for.

This doesn't mean you should give up the
idea of shaving your pubic area, just
that you need to find out about better
shaving tools for this area.

Just like thousands of others who
already have.

What? You think you're the first to want
to have a hairless pubic mound? You
might be surprised ... Just mention your
shaving experience to one or two of your
closest friends and see what happens.
They may be thrilled to finally be able
to talk to someone about their own
experiences.

And know this - Learning how shaving is
best done in the pubic area is also
important to achieving that silky,
smooth look and feel you're wanting.

Your friends may be able to enlighten
you to pubic shaving tricks and tips
they've learned along the way.

Just remember that every body is
different and/so what works for them
might not be best for you. But at least
you may hear some things to think about
as you continue to explore shaving your
pubic area.

Allow your pubic hair to grow back in
some, which will allow your skin to
settle down, before attempting shaving
again.

But do try again - Those who are shaving
their pubic area, and those who are
benefiting from it say it's amazing how
much it adds to intimate interactions.

All you need to do now is your own
research to find out about the shaving
tools designed for safely shaving the
pubic area.

Unwanted hair on the face or on the body
affects a huge number of women. Some
women are likely to develop hair growth
where they don?t want it usually during
the onset of their puberty period.
Unwanted hairs are usually specific
traits that are inherited, through
families or races.

I. Ways To Get Rid Of Hair:

1. Shaving

This is done either through electric
razors or a disposable razor held by
hand, that can give about three dozen of
smooth shaves. Applying a shaving cream
on wet skin will be helpful in achieving
a smooth appearance. While this method
is very fast, easy and painless, the
results are brief; usually will last 2 -
3 days. New hair growth can be bristly
giving you rough and even legs that are
painful to the touch. Avoid razor burns:

- Always shave with a new blade.

- Shave thoroughly, applying as little
pressure as possible, paying special
attention to the curves.

- Wash off shaving cream with cold
water.

- Apply an aftershave.

- Pat with a towel to dry the area well.

- Smooth on lotion to skin.

2. Waxing:

Waxing is a method of epilation, meaning
the hair is plucked from beneath the
surface of the skin. The results of
waxing can lasts long for several weeks.
Waxing involves two techniques, warm and
cold waxing. Both can be easily done at
home with the use of waxing kits. Warm
waxing is usually performed in a salon
and more effective compared to cold
waxing. Pain is dependent to each
individual?s threshold. Hand pressure is
applied so discomfort can be minimized.
The waxed area will remain red for a few
hours.

- In a warmer, wax is heated until it
melts.

- Using a spatula, the warmed wax is
then applied to the skin.

- A paper or cloth strip is positioned
over the wax until cooled.

- The cooled wax becomes slightly hard
and the strip is pulled to the direction
opposite the hair growth.

3. Depilatory Creams:

These creams work by dissolving the hair
on the surface of the skin, which
normally takes ten to fifteen minutes.
It is applied to the skin and leaving it
for a few minutes then washed off using
a towel or a sponge. With this method,
hair can grow back as fast as shaving
and some depilatory creams have
unpleasant odors. Chemical depilatories
are mainly used for the under arms, arms
and legs. Using it on the face will
cause irritations unless it is stated in
the label that it is safe for the face.
Thin hairs are damaged faster than thick
ones; therefore these creams may be not
effective on certain areas of the body
and in some individuals. When applying
the cream for the first time, test it
first by rubbing a small amount onto an
area of the skin. Wait for a few minutes
and see if it causes a reaction on your
skin. If it does, do not use it. Read
and follow the instructions carefully,
the manufacture has provided
instructions for safety. Do not leave
the cream on your skin longer than what
the label says for it could irritate
your skin.

4. Electrolysis

This method is done by destroying the
roots of the hair with an electric
current, thereby loosening the hair
follicles, and removing it with
tweezers. This is a simple process where
a very thin needle that is electrically
charged is inserted into the hair
follicle, where the hair is coming out.
The follicle is then zapped with
electricity and destroyed.

5. Laser

Hair must be in a growing stage during
this treatment, reason why laser is done
on a few sessions. All follicles are
always not on the same phase and all not
at the same time and each stage or phase
of hair growth can last from two to six
months. Growth, regression and resting
are the stages of hair growth. This
method disables the ability of the
follicle to make more hair. The stage
growth and hair darkness will determine
how many sessions is required to get rid
of all unwanted hairs. Once the session
is finished though, one could go on for
life without unwanted hairs.
