My have some acne around my jaw line and basically everywhere I shave, and I think it could possibly be because of either the shaving cream or because of my razor. I'm thinking of switching to shaving with ivory soap instead of shaving cream. Anyone know what this will do?

I bought a intuition plus razor do this one work well?

Please tell me some good razor brands and shaving gels to use for first-timer shavers.

Every time i shave my legs i get a red pimply rash which lingers for days, how can i prevent / treat it?
Its not my razor as i have used many types to see if this is the cause and i have tried many shaving creams and gels to help but nothing seems to work!

Can I have some bad reaction to the razors? Ever since I've been shaving my legs, I get this bad itching after just 2 days of shaving and it gets really bad and can't stop scratching and I end up leaving scratch marks on my legs, I've put rubbing alcohol and lotion and works for just a while. I've also used Nair Wax and never had that problem and it's even better because I go almost 3 wks without waxing or shaving, not like shaving , I hate shaving, One because I get itchy , Secondly, hairs start peaking out by the 3rd , 4th day. In the other hand waxing can be a little painful .Has Anyone had this problem ?
I do use sensitive shaving gel, I do use a new razor every time I shave.

this may sound silly but what is the correct way to shave your beerd and tash etc do you shave downwards or upwards and do you use hot or cold water reason i ask is i have been shaving downwards and realising i can still se some of the haire (not the closest shave and doesnt last) but have shaved upwards and found i cut myself more but the shave lasts

also i have been coming out in an itchy red rash when shaving even though i put plenty of shaving gell on and spots come out too

oh yeh also i use gillett fusion manual razor so that shouldent be the problem

also how often should you shave

I realize how dumb I sound, but I have never shaved using a regular razor before. I've always been too scared to get cut. Now, though, after trying other things, I'd like to try shaving with a razor (using shaving cream, of course!) So what's a good, safe method to shave using a razor?
I sort of figured that out already, dear.

My little girl is 8 years old and has asked about shaving her legs already. I am not sure whether or not to let her, or how to go about talking to her about it or explaining to her how to do it. Not sure I trust her with a razor either! lol. I read that once the child starts to ask that she is ready, but I'm just not sure if 8 is the right age for that.

I am a 45 year old man who has just started shaving with a razor everyday, after only using clippers or having a beard my whole life. How long should it take before my skin gets used to it and stops breaking out? Any tips? Thanks.

Hey, most everytime i shave my pubic hair, in the next day i get very itchy red bumps. I use shaving cream and a sharp razor, but i still get bumps. Any particular way to shave like in which direction to prevent red bumps?

Okay, it just doesn't make sense... I used a ton of shaving cream and a new razor and my legs are still covered in red bumps. And I'm not allergic to the shaving cream because they always do that no matter what type of organic soap or cream I use. How do I prevent my legs becoming ugly?
