How do I get rid of leg hair without shaving or waxing?

Author: I have really dark leg hair and I feel embarrassed when I wear skirts and shorts. How do I get rid of them without shaving or waxing? I don't wanna go to a pro because they are too expensive.

I've been shaving for 2 years now, and my leg hair doesn't grow back black or anything. Is that a good thing? It just grows in blonde.
What’s the difference between shaving blades for men and those for women?
I'm a woman but I use Gillette blue 2 (I think they're called), which are supposed to be for men; and shaving gel for men too.
So is there any danger in that?
I mean maybe would my leg hair grow a little less strong than it does now if I use a different type of blade?
